DRA&U founder Giorgio Pini met with representatives of Shanghai New Jing’an (Group) Co. Ltd, for a discussion on redevelopment projects of historic buildings in Shanghai. An ambitious Urban Regeneration plan, which will have to integrate the historic city with the rapid and increasingly vertical development of the new Shanghai. Our office presented projects of different scales, sharing our experiences and our sensitivity on the importance of architecture as a historical memory necessary for a more balanced future development of the city.
